David Rett

Meet David!

Currently an undergraduate junior studying Chemical Engineering, David is originally from Concord, MI, a very small town southwest of Jackson, MI. He began working with Professor Clack in the summer of 2012 through the University of Michigan Energy Institute Summer Research Fellowship sponsored by the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), and has continued working with Professor Clack beyond the conclusion of his fellowship. He is specifically involved with the numerical modeling of electrohydrodynamic flow within electrostatic precipitators using COMSOL©  Multiphysics, and maximizing the mercury capture efficiency of electrostatic precipitators under varying conditions.
